I was set up In Pachaug State forest by 6:30 am, along the edge of a swamp. Had 2 does come into 20 yards at 7:45 am, passed on them, looking only for a nice buck. While watching the does I heard a snap, and looking to my right saw two more, and also passed them. Then 5 minutes later saw 2 more out in front about 50 yards. So far a great morning and it was only 8:00 am!!! At 8:15 heard a snap and saw a nice buck moving from right to left out about 50 yards. I gave out a few aggressive grunts and he responded by thrashing the nearest tree, then heading my way thrashing 3 or 4 more trees. At 40 yards he gave out an aggressive snort wheeze and started to move my way. The buck held up at 35 yards trying to scent the buck he heard. He started getting nervous so I had to take him right there. He took off like a shot; I recovered him after a few hours. My Best Archery Buck Yet !! Looks like it might score in the Pope and Young range. Details about Isaac Heath 's huntHunt DetailsDate Killed - 10/17/2009
