shot this deer at 9:30. very active morning seeing a lot of bucks. I shot this one in the shoulder and didn't penetrate greatly but still got one lung. I saw him bound a little ways and he was pouring blood. we waited 3 hours before tracking him. after a huge blood trail, we bumped him and he ran another 70 yards and laid down. in 10 minutes he sat up and fell back down and he was dead. we waited 10 mins after sneaking up on him slowly to slip another arrow in him. fortunately, he was dead and there was no need for another arrow.
