On the way to my stand in the evening I encountered this buck with a doe. They were 125 yards away and feeding their way towards me. I ducked back in the grease wood and waited for the deer to work their way within range. The doe came by at 40 yards and the buck followed. Both animals spotted me, but weren't alarmed and I was able to get a perfect open broadside shot on the buck at 40 yards.
