I was kicking myself for just having shot right over the top of a doe, when I heard movement to my right. This monster took my breath away when I saw him! In standing up to shoot, my pantleg caught on the seat of the stand and then let go with a resounding "CLANK!" but the buck didn't bolt. A slowww 3/4 turn of my body and I was able to draw and shoot. He tipped over in view of the stand. Perfect heart shot. Lightning strikes twice!!!
