I got into my spot all settled in at 3pm for a short hunt. Had 8 deer come down the hill early enough. I took the first large doe that presented a good quartering away shot at 25 yards. Hit her behind the last rib,exited out the shoulder. She ran about 50 yards and stumbled and fell, lived about 8 seconds! Just about the time I was ready to get down, all the deer came back and locked me in the stand for more than an hour and half! Finally I couldn't wait any more I just got down and scared them off!
