Tried to rattle another buck in for a better luck as he wanted nothing to do with the grunt or estrous bleats and ended up rattling a young 8 point and this guy in on a string. They put on a show and the buck I shot was going to fight the younger buck as I stopped him. Liver only and made for a different tracking experience. Lessons learned. Thought it was a great shot and reaction showed me different.
