The public land I was hunting was very crowded, so I hiked in to a new spot deeper and set up with my LW climber. This buck came in from behind me at 8:30. I had to stand and rotate completely around, but the wind was 20 mph. The buck looked bigger than he was due to my lower than usual height in the tree. Anyway he turned and went up the hill and I grunted to stop him when he cut a small opening. I did not think it was 50+ yards, but I pinwheeled him.
