On day 8 of a 9 day, extremely tough hunt, it finally all came together on this nice nanny. We'd had several blown stalks on nice billies (one by a nanny, another by a wolverine and yet another by ravens, of all things). I was able to sneak to 40 yards of her and held at full draw until the wind calmed enough that I could keep my pin on her vitals. She only went 40 yards after the shot but then rolled and fell several hundred feet off of a series of cliff faces. It took us several hours to get down to her and several more to get her out of there. This was, by far, the most difficult hunt I've ever been on, but also the most rewarding.
