Actually shot 1/7/2015. Coldest day of the year, below zero temps with 28 mph winds. I knew a good bedding area where the deer go when weather gets bad, snuck in and got this guy. First time using mechanical broad heads, and the last time. There was barely any blood, with snow on the ground. Lost the blood trail in 40 yards. Was sure it was a bad hit, went to where I last saw him and he was there dead. It should have been a pass thru, right thru the lungs a little far back. Will never use mechanical broad heads again.
