I spent 45 minutes within 30 yards of 5 pigs waiting for the bore to give me a good close shot. At one point I had several pigs under 20 yards. He finally got to within 23 yards and I decided this was it... so I drew and shot when he cleared the reset of the pigs. My shot went a little back but not too bad, I thought. I tracked him just until I found blood and stopped. I wanted to wait awhile so 2.5 hours later I took up the trail. About 30 yards from where I stopped earlier I rounded a small bend with my head down looking for blood. I look up to see the bore jumping off a small ledge towards me with his teeth popping... I stumbled back and he lands about 2 feet in front of me then turns to run but doesn't have much juice left. I then shot him again and then changed my shorts.
