I was following some fresh tracks in about 8 inches of snow down into a flat with big timber on it, when this buck stepped out from behind a big rootwad at 20 yds while tailgating a doe. I introduced him to my homemade arrow made from old growth Douglas Fir. It was a most enjoyable day to be in the woods with bow in hand!
