Scouted out area during pre- season. Videotaped buck week before opener. Positioned myself with pattern of previous weeks. No luck with pattern began combing area. Spotted bedded bucks... Returned to camp to get more water, raingear... Looked down 60 yards away and bucks had moved underneath my camp... Moved in 60 yards to 40. Took shot, hit homerun... Retruned to buddie waiting out bedded deer... made play on deer for him... No shot for buddie, returned to beging looking for my buck... Found him in bush laying on his left cheater, now broken off, dangling by velvet. 31 inches spread. 202 gross, 196 net, green score...
