After this bull pushed his cows across the hill toward us, he trotted straight in to the pleading cow calls. He stopped at a mere 5 yards from me and I watched the drool dripping from his mouth. After about 30 seconds of a head-to-head stand off he bolted to my right. A cow call from my buddy convinced him to stop and have one last look....a fatal mistake. I watched him expire a short distance away.
