SITKA BLACKTAIL deer, not mule deer. Two bucks/one doe were in a spot where I couldn't stalk w/in range. I slipped to 40-50 yards and guessed where they'd exit when my brother purposely skylined himself and moseyed around. The deer moved just as we hoped and I was rewarded with a slam dunk on a beautiful Sitka blacktail in the alpine country of Kodiak Island.
