I spent 4 weeks backpacking in the Brooks Range in 2000 and took this Arctic Griz as well as a Dall Sheep and a pair of Caribou. I stalked this bear the day before and couldn't get in close enough and got it the following day by setting up in front of him and letting him feed to me.
