I spotted this deer moving along a creek bottom with 3 other bucks. I had to circle a mile around them to get the wind right. I had a hunch where they might bed, so I hustled to the spot and waited. 2 minutes later they showed up, but this big boy bedded behind a bush, 20 yds away, giving me no shot. I waited for 45 minutes for him to stand up to move out of the sun. My legs were completely numb, but I managed to draw and straighten up just enough to get the shot off. This deer has a toad. Well over 400'. The biggest bodied and the only velvet-horned buck I've shot. Details about Matt Teter 's huntHunt DetailsDate Killed - 10/02/2001
