Horton Vortec RDX Crossbow. Like new. Maybe shot 20 times. Never been in the field. Comes with quiver, 7 bolts, and BowJax. Excellent condition. This Crossbow was $999 new. RDX reverse draw technology allowing for great maneuverability and big performance. 340 fps with 103 ft. lbs. of kinetic energy. At the 2017 ATA Show in Indianapolis, Horton released the Vortec RDX. Starting at $799, the Vortec RDX delivers a high quality reverse limb crossbow at a great price. The Vortec RDX is light and compact with a stock built for great balance and handling. The crossbow is super narrow at just 9.125? axle-to-axle when cocked. The Vortec RDX is a compact 34.25? long, perfect for treestands and ground blinds. It has a 4? bullpup trigger, meaning that the trigger is 4? forward from the trigger box. This moves your hand forward and gives the crossbow a more centered fulcrum point and thus a more balanced feeling crossbow The trigger that comes on the Vortec RDX is the same that is on the pricier Storm. It’s a 3.5 pound trigger with very little creep. The Horton Vortec RDX has just a 135 pound draw weight and sends a Horton arrow downrange at 340 feet per second.
