Yes the outfitter offered Tim a pretty good return deal, so he jumped at it. He basically came home for 5 days and turned around and went right back.
Good luck! Thanks again for taking us along on the adventure!

Tim,
The "pressure" is now off, my friend. Congratulations on your bear! Looking forward to the photos...
Enjoy your last few days with the Inuits of the arctic, as you may never be back there again. Take enough photos to last a lifetime....as they just may have to do that!!
Jake
Excellent Tim!!!! Congrats buddy and cant wait for pics!
What a emotional ride for you Tim, looking forward to the photos!
Wow BPM outstanding! Your voice exudes gratitude and that is real nice to hear. All the best in your return trip home.
Great job! I can hear a lot of conflict in your voice. Happiness, relief and maybe just a little sorrow that it is over, even a little anger that it will have to stay north of the border. Anyway, congratulations!
Simply amazing, I am not sure if I could handle those swings of emotion. A week ago coming home from one of the most expensive hunts out there knowing some things didnt work out the way you had planned then a week later you are standing over the trophy of a lifetime. Outstanding, great job and many congrats Tim. I am so happy for you.
Cant wait to see the pictures!

Jim

Heck ;you hardly got into the third quarter. Way to go Tim, I am anxious to see your photos. It's amazing how fast things can turn around if one stays with it! I am sure we are all proud of you for your tenacity and excellent shot.

Tim, Huge smiles for the TN mountains. I am very happy for you and thanks for sharing the hunt. Awesome. Alan
What is done with the hide. Just leave with taxiidermist so maybe one day it can be brought back?
Bou--Yes, it can be left with a taxidermist there, left with a friend there, it can be sold there and recover some of your expenses or wait it out for laws to change-- BPM is trying to arrange a new flight schedule to return home--so far that's not going very well--nothing definite yet--he may just have to buy someones ticket at the airport if he wants to get home early--????
clutch
I bet the story about the difficulty in returning home is a just cover up for the fact he has a contracted a severe case of HSAD.
better know as Hide Separation Anxiety Disorder.
it is fairly common amoung successful polar bear hunters but only seems to afflict those who are US residents.
Tim, Thanks for sharing your adventure(s) up North. Congratulations on your bear. Hopefully someday you can get him to south LA. Good luck changing your flights!
Lenny
