My 13 year old son's first shot ever at big game. Yeah, it's a bit high, but crap can those speed goats move. 38 yards at about 215 fps. What a heart breaker! Not a bad shot for his first ever under the gun. Might be fortunate the speed goat ducked this one and we'll count it a blessing in any case.
We had 15 - 20 shooters in the water for him, all at 35 - 52 yards. Water was spilling out of the pond and way down the hill where they would came in. It was just too much for his setup and had to do 5 let downs after this miss. They just wouldn't cooperate today. I think dad may have been more nervous than Jr :)
Needless to say he's pretty stoked about putting down one of these bad boys.
