I know you posted a link to your how-to forum, but it looks like membership is required to view it.
Would it be too much to ask you to post or copy/paste that info here in bowsite? Maybe in a new forum?
Thanks in advance!

Those are really cool, bear. This winter has been nasty but its been beautiful at the same time.
I dug out all my camera stuff a few weeks ago and I've been playing with it. Forgot how much fun it is. Its definitely helping take the edge off of the winter weather.
Thanks for sharing.
Injured rooster is still showing up
They are really puffing the red out lately
They are really puffing the red out lately
Yeah, the red puffs out and their nads get big...8^)
No joke though, their nads enlarge this time of year to the point they don't or won't want to fly. One year during mid-March at a preserve the owner didn't want to release cock birds for he said they wouldn't fly and we didn't believe at first until we learned first hand...
Bear - BTW, I take it these are wild birds living year round in MN? Didn't realize they were that hardy to survive MN winters, especially as harsh as this year...
I think they did well in our area as we had lots of cold but not as much snow as most of the rest of the state. They are still way down in numbers from bad winters 3 and 4 years ago.
The weather got nice and the birds moved out no pheasant pics in the last three days at the feeding site but did get 3 pics from the fox den
This winter has been pretty easy on the birds and they don't need to come into my feed sites to get pics only a few pics so far

Beautiful pics Bear! Love your fox den & duck pics as well.
After seeing these pics, I'm going to set up a trail cam in a similar location here in Iowa this coming winter. Got the spot all picked out. Saw lots of birds in a shelter belt a bunch of times last winter.
Some beautiful birds and the colors very nice. Thanks for sharing.
Not many to pick from this year

Great photos! Always enjoy your fox den photos too!
Grew up in Iowa during the great pheasant era and always enjoyed the winter hunt, nothing like a good dog on a late season rooster, shot many but always left a carry over for the following year and now it is gone from the farming practices, no habitat no birds or anything else. Enjoyed the pics.
Why so few pictures this year. Is the population down where you live or just less time with cameras in the field?
Finally got some pheasants to accept the camera over the corn
Great pics. Here's a nice on I got a couple of weeks ago.
Nice one the sun really pops the colors on them!
One of my favorite threads
Thanks for sharing again...
Kissing rabbits
Kissing rabbits
Nice pics. Pheasants are magnificent birds!
My lil English cocker is going crazy looking at the pictures, nothing prettier in snow than a cock pheasants. Grew up hunting them in Ia. and had some great times with the dog chasing them, late season birds were always fun to hunt. Thanks for the pics, wish they were back as in the past, now all there is to hunt is the pheasant farm to keep the pup happy.
Bera - Are those rabbits eating those spruce bowels?
I put them out to cover the corn so it does not show in the pics so much, something chews them up, rabbits in at night so could be them.
Very nice Bear! I have lots of pheasant pics but they aren't nearly as "alive" as these are! Ha!
Any Bigfoots show up yet! 8)
