Missouri police officers were given instructions to target Christians, pro-lifers, Ron Paulians, pro-Gun activists, etc. as potential terrorists. Timothy Birdnow at The American Thinker reported on this disturbing offical police document:

The Missouri Information Analysis Center (a division of the state police) has compiled an enemies list of warning signs for state police officers, signs that are supposed to help them determine potential terrorists. Such signs include Ron Paul bumper stickers, or "Right to Carry" handgun stickers (I have to wonder: does it include Support Your Local Police stickers, too?) and our friendly state troopers are warned to proceed with extreme caution against such radicals.

Who is being targeted in this report? The state police are warned that Christians, "sovereign citizens", those opposed to abortion, tax revisionists, and anti-illegal immigrant advocates are potential would-be terrorists.

The terrorists who flew hijacked planes into our buildings are now considered poor miss guided lost souls who caused man made destruction, but Americans who "cling to their guns and churches" are now considered terrorists.

Its all part of that "change you can believe in".

LH,

I have found the Missouri Highway Patrol to be a very upstanding organization. Unlike Obama's right wing twin.......;^)

It is simply scandelous to put such a report out. There is no doubt that there are such extreemist groups out there but the problem with the report is that is lumps too many with them by use of it's descriptions of those who hold those beliefs. Simply put, one could say, white, Christian, anti-abortion, gun owning, Constitution based men are suspect. This is the kind of thing that the media uses to jade the sheeple against what should be honorable and good men.

This country is so screwed.

Here is a direct response from GHQ:

"Thank you for your email regarding the MIAC Strategic Report. We have also been fielding complaints about the report and the Infowars article in which is author Kurt Nimmo wrote his interpretation. Nimmo's view has been disseminated over a blog site and radio station, and has rapidly spread over the country.

The MIAC article was written by one of our civilian analyst using a number of open-source documents. The Patrol stands by the contents of the report. The primary concern seems to be that the names of former presidential candidates were listed in the MIAC report."

I live in Missouri and have for 50+ years. I am also pro-gun and right to carry, but given what I know about the people who live in this state....I would say that the police are pretty much right on.

I also agree with gflight in that the Missouri Highway Patrol is the most professional law enforcement agency I know of...and I am acquainted with two state troopers and and several municpal and county police officers.

They know who the threat is and what to do about it.

Yeah especially when you do it butt backwards and focus on the wrong groups to profile

" That profiling thing can be a real nuisance...... "

You said a mouthful there.

Guess we Molon Labe type guys need to really scream about this. It is the only way we can be made untouchable like Muslim and other groups.

Liberals wouldn't allow a report like this for "Their" groups. They will scream racism, religion bashing and every thing else. Even if it is spot on which this one seems to be.

If you look at it objectively it fits domestic groups, but it fits a lot of O.K. folks too. The sad part is you won't see a report like this on Muslims in the U.S............

I think I'll email them my name and ask them to add me to their "list," even though I don't live in that state.

Perhaps what it is time for, is to start an accessible database of names of police officers, names of their family members, their childrens' names, their home addresses, phone numbers, online identities, etc.

I can imagine how well putting LEOs names and addresses in an open database would go over with law enforcement agencies, that think it acceptable to do that to others who have committed absolutely no wrongs other than having a sticker for Ron Paul, or LP party stickers on their car.

That type of intel will become a highly effective weapon in the event it becomes necessary to enforce our Constitutional authority, against these government agencies.

Since I am a Christian, anti abortion, right to carry, believer, I guess the good thing is I dont need to worry about being tortured at Gitmo.

"During a press conference last week in Kansas City, Mo., DHS Secretary Janet Napolitano called fusion centers the "centerpiece of state, local, federal intelligence-sharing" in the future."

Wow, and here not too long ago, our bow-libs were whining about the Patriot Act.

Looks like the B-Ho admin. is following a Stalin-like "big brother" monitoring policy to me. build a data base of IP's and everything that the DHS construes and a little bit out there would initiate a flag if you visited it.

Gotta love it.

"O" was having these Same Types Targeted when he was campaining in Missouri! He threatened Law Suits against any of them IF they (police) didn't hold these types of people back from disrupting his campaign!....Mo. State Attorney was in on it too! It was all over the local news back then!

I have always flown a Gadsden flag from the rigging of my sailboat. And by the way, the modified Gadsden flag (stripes and sea snake) is the official flag of the U.S. Navy. Perhaps they're all domestic terrorists as well.

Another interesting fact. The Nazis also compiled an equally risible list of behaviors and symbols to help identify and ferret out Jews.

Not that I'm saying that Hussien's administration is a bunch of fascists. But ain't they?

24-Mar-09
The current administration couldn't be farther away from fascism than it is.....to me it is down right communism.

From: bluetick
24-Mar-09
Straight Arrow,

Fascism is socialism. So is Nazism. Stalin proclaimed both to be 'right wing' to distance his brand of collectivism (communism) from theirs. The myth took root, and to this day people mistakenly regard nazism (national SOCIALISTS) and Fascism with right wing movements. In fact, Fascism and Mussolini was the darling of the progressive movement in the United States during the twenties. They even penned a popular song, 'You're the tops' which included the verse 'you're the tops, you're the Mussolini . . '

It's all true.

24-Mar-09
This is still debated today but most scholars place fascism on the right. Facism's most common allies lay on the right, particularly on the radical authoritarian right. Communism on the other hand is almost universally accepted to be on the extreme left.
