Where do you all think the best place is to hunt Mountain Caribou and who would be some of reputable outfitters to go with? I'm getting an itch that needs scratching... :)

I would encourage you to talk with Gana River Outfitters in the NWT. Harold is a straight shooter and they kill some great bulls. I believe their multi-year average is around 375". I had less than 24 hours to hunt them after I killed my sheep there, and I killed a representative bull in ~45 minutes. We had a ~390" bull run into and out of our lives during my 12 hour post-flight "no hunt" period as well.

There are some great Caribou Outfits in NWT. I hunted with Arctic Red and had a great hunt.

Stan Simpson at Ramhead has some great Mtn bous.....a week before I hunted up there this year they killed a 400"+ (maybe more like 410"?). monster.

Great people, operation and critters!
