Just wondering if anyone has multiple antelope mounts in your trophy room. I am going back to New Mexico in August and I am hoping to get another buck. I would like to mount one more if it is a nice buck. Anyone have any wall pedistal mounts?

I have a number of antelope on my wall but they were all done before pedestal forms came out and are popular. I think wall pedestals are great! They seem to give a lot more life to a mount! Mckenzie, Head Quarters, Van Dykes, Jonas, and other taxidermy supply catalogs have a bunch of different wall mount forms and mounts on their websites and catalogs.

One word of advice is to save a lot more shoulder when skinning your buck than you think is necessary. Also tube the front, upper legs so there aren't any seams for your taxidermist to have to sew and try to hide. The hair in that area on an antelope is fairly short!

Matt,

This was exactly what I was looking for in my request. This gives me some options on how different moubts look like on the wall. I have one now that looks like yours that's second from the left. I really like your far left goat.

Thanks!

Four shoulder mounts and a half-dozen european mounts grace my walls. There's not a prettier animal out there. Not a great photo, but something to look at.

I've been wanting a bear! I hope to get to go mule deer hunting in October and I hope to get a bear tag while I'm there. My hunting buddies saw have giant bears out there last year. Good luck!

No one seems to use a full sneak for pronghorns, but I like the pose, especially if you have more than a few displayed. The 4 on the right are mine. The 3 on the left are my wife's.

This was a wall pedastal form, but there wasn't enough hide. But I still like 45 degree angle look.
