Last night I was re-watching [and re-living] the trip to RSA I did in 2010.
Its' volume Nine of Dries Visser's "Africa's Best Bowhunts" and it examines some trophy assessment tips.
Three of my animals are featured for scoring. Wildebeast, Impala and a very old bag-of-bones wart hog.
Anyway, at the end of the video there are two optional hunts also, one for leopard and one for cape buffalo For some reason I've never watched the buff hunt. So I did and huh, well what do you know, it's our own Bowsite Pat drawing down on ole Black Death.
So now am pretty tickled to be inextricably linked with such a legend!!
But, some how in my mind, I had always imagined this larger-than-life slayer to be tall and ruggedly handsome!
Oh well, a minor disappointment on such a great day!

Let me get this straight....Pat Lefemine, who currently resides in Connecticut and has lived in the Northeast for most or all of his life, started off a sentence with "Y'all"........next thing you know, he'll be interviewing Chris Mathews and Rachel Maddow.

"Y'all" need to go shovel some snow to sharpen up the dull edges..... heheheheh...
Not going to shovel any more snow here. It will be mostly gone by the middle of June anyway.
But it helps keep the mosquitoes down to only dense clouds for the spring bear season.
