Shiloh Ranch Trail Cam Pics
I am going to try something different. I have a trail cam that sends pics to my cell phone. Nothing new there, but the new HCO Spartan sends them within a minute or less after pic is taken. The resolution will not be the best because of me choosing a lower resolution for better battery life. Here is what I'm going to do. I will try and move this camera to each location where hunters will be hunting. Some of you will recognize the places. I will post the pics I get from each location everyday. I move the cam every week or so. You can monitor what is happening. Let me know what you think and I'm open to suggestions. Enjoy! This is the "Rattlesnake Ridge" stand. A few pics from today
Pigs making an appearance
Matt, I think that's a fine idea. The resolution looks good enough for me. Looking forward to seeing more pictures.
You do know that INbowdude will not be getting much school work done when he catches this thread don't you? Just glad you have enough cell service to make the cameras operate. I'm already counting days till the next trip and now you do this to me...
Awesome! Where is rattlesnake ridge located?
Rattlesnake Ridge! One of my favorite places in the US.
You know how to taunt a fellow don't you!
Rattlesnake is located in the far SE corner of the property. Long walk but well worth it.
Nuts! There goes any chance that I will be on task today in class. Better show a movie!
Agree with John, resolution looks fine.
Love the Ridge.
Thanks, I think.
Keep the pics coming, gives me something to look at till I get there the 1st week of Jan.
Agree with Skippy, let's see some more pics!
Ok guys...been hard at it all day. Here are a few (and I mean a fraction of) the pics from Rattlesnake Ridge today. Surprisingly, some are mid day.
Those hogs at 18:24-25 are good looking porkers. Looking forward to 2016 hunts.
How's the house building going?
House coming along great. Keeps us hooked up pretty much all day. Thanks for asking!
This will at least hold me over for next 36 days!! Come on Jan 15th!!!!!
These guys hung out for several minutes
Might be slow for you! lol Thanks for posting.
Looks like a whole sounder coming in
I will move this camera tomorrow to a different location. Lastest visitors
One more time from Rattlesnake Ridge
Are those time stamps correct? That's interesting if it is.
Mike, they are off one hour. The time didn't adjust for time change. Should be an hour earlier
These are great Matt & Cheryl! Now you (I mean "we") just need a camera at each feeder! (We want to save you the time of moving the camera...)
I will take up a donation for the $25 fee for cell coverage on each account and I could have a camera at each feeder! :)
Nice Boar this morning. Time is 1 hour earlier than posted in pic
The new camera location will be stand 1A.
I set the time stamp so it will be correct. Here are the first customers. They just came in!
1A is rocking this morning with some big hogs. I'm going to move cam where the sun isn't directly in its face though. I tried to give it the view our hunter has from the ground blind.
Someone is going to have good time here today!
Last one for the morning crew. Have to meet up with my hunters.
Dylan, my 8 year old, knows where he wants to sit this evening!
Nice hogs indeed! Good luck Dylan!
Moved camera out of sun. Dylan will see lots of critters this eve...hogs, deer, coyote's and bobcats maybe.
This is awesome! We'll be down to see you guys in 2 weeks! Everyone is excited! We had some 70 degree weather this weekend to get outside and make sure everyone was shooting well. We hope you guys have a Merry Christmas! See you soon!
Fulton's... We are well thanks! Looking forward to seeing everyone soon.
Here are some pigs this eve at 1A. I believe one of these met its maker this eve!
Check out this big Boar that just made an appearance
The night shift comes to work!
Matt, your trail cam pics are real popular around our group of hunters. Lots of conversation already around where to sit. Keep the pics coming we are really looking forward to the hunt. See you the toward the end of February.
Ok....will do. I was testing the waters to see if there was an interest in pics at different locations on the ranch. If not, I wasn't going to continue. Several are watching so we will continue for a while! There are tons more pics, but I will post just a few. Here are some today from 1A. BTW, our 8 hunters killed 8 hogs. The biggest was 330#!!!
Great pics. Right before my classes take their finals. Totally distracted now!
30 more days, can't come fast enough keep them coming Matt. Hope you and Cheryl have happy holiday season see you 1/15/16!
39 days for us. Keep them coming Matt!
Matt & Cheryl, How about #6 next? Love that stand! Keeps the pics coming.
Looking forward to seeing all of you folks! Skippy, #6 just ahead!
In the meantime, here some hogs coming in at #1A. No one in stands this evening so Chris and I topped off feeders. We saw tons of hogs and deer. A gorgeous afternoon. Our last group left Shiloh this morning. They went 8 for 8 and took some great hogs!
Great pictures Matt! Cool idea.
I have been posting much here lately.. "Actually no one really has..but I've been watching the threads from time to time. I've never had the opportunity to hunt Shiloh.. Maybe one day soon..but love seeing those pigs on camera! Anyone that has hunted hogs knows what I'm talking about..just gets the heart going!!!
Shoot str8 and stay safe!! Jeff
Jeff, come see us anytime...would love to meet you!

Morning pics a few minutes ago.
Just a couple pics from the many on the morning shift.
I will move the camera to another hunting stand for this evening.
