Wonder what the skull looks like?
They might need to make a "non typical" category for lions now!
Doesn't look like it stunted his growth any.
Would love to see pics of that skull once it's been cleaned up . Just bizarro that it appears to have caused no ill effects...
WTF... talk about some buck teeth!!!
Cool, it's a dentigerous cyst....
Knew a chick like that in college...
All I can say is WOW...
If that extra bone counts, its a booner!
From what I have read it is teratoma - a tumor/cancer growth and it wont be attached to the skull so beetles would likely eat most of it.
@Destroyer - Not in this case, or it wouldn't likely have teeth growing out of it, nor a muzzle, I'd expect...
But the skull will reveal all in time....
Wow, that will be,an interesting,mount.
parasitic twin is my guess
Yeah houndy65, me with same thought...
Tumor or Parasite wouldn't change the hair color to white like a muzzle would it?
looks like a bottom jaw of the twin and the jaw would with this lion.
Well-Strung...is the photo you posted of a different lion?
Yup parasitic twin if you ask me. Shawn
Here is a link that I found. Looks like their going to do some xrays to see whats going on with it.
