Ok, I haven't put any camera pics up lately because I thought no one was looking. Seems I was very wrong. Many of our hunters come and mentioned how much they look forward to pics. My response is, "Make a comment so I know you are looking! So, here is fresh pics from #2. Note: Sometimes the camera is further alway and hogs look smaller, but not necessarily true. Sometimes I have it close so you can get a good idea of how big they are.
ok posting I like it. Keep them coming until at least 3-20. We arrive the 21st so I can see them in person then. thanks see you soon
Thanks Matt and Cheryl for another great hunt. For any hunters heading down there soon, all the stands we hunted had great action. And I am sure the ones , like #2 did as well. Hopefully my pic of the hog I shot Monday shows up.
Seems like only yesterday I was up there in that stand. Keep 'em coming. It will be cool to see the spring green up. Looking forward to the Porkapalooza.
Always a good time at Shiloh, Keep the pics coming.
Always love the pictures from the stands. Less than 4 months till Porkapalooza so these will keep some of us excited.
Keep the pics coming we will there on the 24th just 3 weeks outs.STUCKINTHERUT, leave some for us, sounds like you will be there just ahead of us
How did the vote come out. It was to be announced March lst but I can't find anything posted.
We're out there after Foxwillkill, so please, keep posting. I've got two stands to use to finish my "Shiloh Slam" which doesn't get me a trophy or anyting, but no. 5 seems to be useless every time I hunt it. I'm looking forward to breaking the jinx.
Bad Karma, 5 is tricky. What's the other stand?
3.....lots of pigs there, but when I hunt it with deadly intent, they go somewhere else.
3 was my nemesis for many years. Need the right wind for sure.
Bad Karma I need 3 and 5 as well. I shot under a 50# hog when there 2 weeks ago at 3. Had 5 others come in after that but were all to big for my 2nd hog so just watched them eat. Oh well there is always June and Porkapalooza.
It gives me an excuse to return. Like I needed one.....
Love the pics - keep 'em coming
This evening...a couple pics of many.
I see one or two that could ride home with me.
Plenty of broadside pigs, so I know Inbowdude's trigger finger is twitching...
I am a weak man! I really like these pics. Gives me some great insights on hogs and where I need to place that broadhead. Fortunately, these hogs love to pose just right.
I'm guessing my hunter in #2 shoots either the spotted one or light one.
Thanks for the pics. We will be there in just over 2 weeks. Great Fun!!
Well, Hunter shot one of the hogs. Going to get it now.
Yep, those lighter colored hogs would be in serious trouble.
7 hunters shot 12 hogs so far!
Boy, that sounds like the pork is on the ground this hunt. Tell them to leave a few for later hunters. Gongrats. What a fun time.
Hogs of a different sort this morning!
Evening swift. Last evening for my 7 hunters from IL, TN, and AR
That spotted red and black pig could be in trouble in 2 weeks...if he makes it that long.
Love the pics. 11 days and counting.
We show up two weeks from today, so right after you. Leave a few for us. I haven't killed anything in 2 weeks and i'm starting to get soft.
How have you guys been doing for rain?
We had our first shower today in more than two months.
Bad Karma, Two weeks and no kill. You got it bad.
Well, it was biodegradable pop up targets, popularly known as prairie dogs. The hawks were grateful.
I may have to go spend a little more trigger time this next weekend, as I wouldn't want to lose it right before my next trip to Shiloh.
Writer, yes, got plenty of rain for now. Ground is saturated. Lots of colored pigs this morning!
Looks like a hog rainbow with a pot of pork at the end of it.
My hunters are in numbers 5,7, 1, 3 & 4. Hog hit and not recovered yet at #7. Number 2 is rocking!
Thanks for that last pic Matt and Cheryl. I have my pigs already picked out for next week. The dairy cow in the back as my first one and the smaller oreo in the front for my second.
How hard could that be?
You'll soon find out "how hard can that be." 5 hunters got winded this eve with no shot. One shot that we couldn't find.
Curt, inject smiley face here because I know you know! :-)
Did you release Spuds McKracken, the pig-finding tornado?
...and how is the Mayor of Shiloh these days, anyway?
Didn't use Kai, Writer. It was a high hit with no chance of recovery. Plus, Kai was tied up in our buggy for chasing a piggy she wasn't supposed to the evening before...sorta a time-out for her. She is doing very well but still has her puppy moments like most youngsters! :)
some great looking hogs in those pics.
This is my favorite picture from stand 2. This is facing behind the stand. Nice boar took the ride home during the Aporkalypse.
We are just a week away from being there. Game cam. pics are great. Keep us posted how the hunters are doing. 2-3 newbies coming along on this trip.
Ok, I moved camera to 1a so this is last post. What a way to end it. These first time Shiloh hunters went 7 hogs for 8 hunters, but the best thing is they did it the first eve out! Congrats guys!
Help us Matt and Cheryl We will be hitting the road from Sodak within the hour. A few pics from 1a would really shorten the drive up for us all, especially Logan. He seems a little excited.
Man, that's a pile of pork. Congrats.
Those pics look good! I look forward to seein ya'll next month! Arrowflinger.....
