We started a supplemental feeding program on our hunting club in Alabama right after deer season ended in Feb. We built feeders with spouts that will be at least 40 inches off of the ground so that the hogs won't eat all the feed. Well, as you can see, we need to go a little higher on this guy.
He just walks up and sits down to the buffet.

He's a big one. I surprised he hadn't knocked the feeder down. Forrest

No doubt we will have to get some t-posts to stake down the legs.

Wow, that's a biggun. Best of luck the hunter who drags that sucker out!

Looks like he may still have a lot of domestic tendencies in him. Let us know what he weighs, on good scales, when someone capitalizes on his addiction to corn.

Sometimes you can put pieces on PVC pipe on the legs and it will spin and not provide a good rubbing post. It's pretty slick!

We killed him this weekend. He hit the scales at 363 lbs.

That is a toad - congratulations! Don't see really big tusks, and he was probably a stinky old thing, but a trophy is a trophy.

Wow, that's a lot of sausage there. Do you eat those big boars?

I don't. We killed 700 last year. I can be more selective. I give all the ones that are not the best eating to a friend that owns an alligator farm.

I wish I had an alligator farm near me. :)
