Man I hope I don't draw a Nevada elk tag! I've already got the whole month of September marked off for elk hunts in Arizona and New Mexico!!!
Sorry guys I could not resist...:)
Greg I will take it but I would be happy if I can draw my mule deer tag with my 9 points
Man you guys are harsh! Some of you need an elk tag! I'm points only in Nevada so no chance of me "taking your tag". Good luck to all who applied!!!!!
It's up, I drew an elk (late rifle 104,121) and deer (bow 221+) tag!
Nothing for me, but I only applied for CA DBS and RBHS.
Same old song and dance....
Nada! I guess I can't be that lucky again. I drew a unit 072 elk tag last year, and it was the very first time I put in.
FINALLY!! I got my 22nd bonus point for DBH. Been waiting 22 years for that point.
Unit 76 non resident Archery Elk tag.
Successful desert bighorn.....ewe
WOW!!! 72 archery elk
I know nothing of the unit. It was my 3rd or 4th choice. Think I had 8 NR points
Struck out. 5 states and 4800 bucks on the credit card. Didn't draw a thing.... Gonna look into left overs or OTC alternatives. .. Good luck to all
Have yourselves a fine holiday weekend!
071/079 Late archery Mulies with a bow ! Should be a good time
I didn't draw anything nor did my wife, my son and his wife and one grandson. One grandson drew a youth deer tag. That's one for about 15 applications.
Jack squat in Nevada for me.
I got 15 points for sheep both kinds and 10 for deer only one state left Mt Moose Sheep & Goat about the 18th of june
After striking out with all of my other apps, my home state was good to me this year. A Desert Bighorn tag and the late season 194, 196 archery deer. Time to get busy.

I did draw an early deer tag in a secondary unit i havent hunted in 15-20 yrs
Good for you Blaine
Those are dang good elk units
For sure get OnXmaps for Nv. on your phone! Lot's a private in certain parts of those units.
Good luck, Robb
No listing in the successful pool. Guess it is just another point in the waiting game...
Has anyone heard of this guy Dwight Schuh he got my sheep tag way to go maybe we will see this hunt on bowhunter TV
Bake, that's a good tag with lots of elk. Hope you like to hike.
Wahoo!!! Archery deer in unit 6 for me. Any help by PM would be appreciated. I've never hunted in Nevada and I'm looking forward to it.
Can't believe a guy can't draw a Nevada archery deer tag with 10 points. Don't know what units guys are waiting for but Nevada has great bucks in all the units! Crazy!
My buddy just drew a deer tag with 17 points I only put in for one unit myself
My brother drew Big Horn Sheep 268.

Huntin' Fool phenomenon?
?THIS MAY HELP EXPLAIN THE LACK OF TAGS FOR DEER Overall the Department is recommending a 17% decrease in mule deer quotas for the 2016 hunting season. ? This is primarily due to several large deer herds in Elko County experiencing reduced over-winter fawn survival and possibly lower adult survival. ? The 2016 antlerless (doe) quota recommendations are nearly 60% lower for 2016. Antlerless quota recommendations were lowered to reflect past success of density reductions and poor fawn recruitment during 2016. ? The statewide observed buck ratio was 33 bucks:100 does with nearly 15,000 total deer observed during fall surveys. ? Maintaining or increasing trophy harvest opportunities was used as justification for reducing quotas in several hunt units throughout the state.
Way to go Garbo on the sheep tag. I didn't draw a thing this year but plenty of hunting to be done.
