Anybody know something about western slope prairie dog hunting? Thanks.

We tend to have ground squirels more common here in NW Colorado than prairie dogs...

I found a town in the mud hills in SW Colorado that stretches for miles. I killed a dozen or more in an hour with my suppressed 17 hmr on a lunch break while elk hunting last year.

Ground squirrel by accident- I thought it was a prairie dog. It was 60 yards away and all I could see was it's head. My S&W .22 flipped it out of the hole 5 ft!

Sure. Head north to Wyoming. Plenty there, and they're happy if you whack a few.
