Bear bait question

Will bears hit a feeder full of dried whole oats? I know they hammer corn feeders. Unfortunately in WA state, they allow baiting deer. So all my neighbors bait. I can't put out a feeder until the bears go down, so only alfalfa will do. That's why I ask the question.

Bears will hit a feeder with any food in it. Here in WI they will even break into cars, cabins, garages, and sheds that have something that smells or tastes good in them.

We bait bears with oats here,so i'd say.... Yup. They prefer corn in my opinion.
