Went on my first Alaska moose hunt in September. Nine days in the middle of nowhere. Three guys in our group and we killed two moose. Not bad for a trio of rookies. Mine is above. Had him officially scored yesterday at 223 4/8" net. I'm still in disbelief.

Thanks guys. I'm working on a story and I'll post it when I get done.
Before we left I told my buddy no way I would head mount a moose...even if I killed a WR. They are just too darn big...I'd have to buy a new house. Never did I dream I'd kill one that big especially considering I would have shot any 50" moose.

Do yourself a favor and check out this forum for your moose. I think it's the only one that does justice to a Alaskan Bull Moose http://rmi-online.com/g-2687.html I mounted mine on it and it is something everyone that sees it says WOW. It's only made for big bulls and it's a huge mount, but it gives justice to a big bull.
