Who here will be attending The Sheep Show here in Reno next month?
Can you walk in, buy a pass for a day or the entire show? What about the banquets and breakfast....do you need to PRE-register? I'll be Coues deer hunting prior to the sheep show and depending on how things go may want to stop in Reno on the way home. ....or continue hunting Coues deer.
Day passes are available and you can get discount coupons for those at a few local stores such as Scheels, Cabelas, Mark Fore and Strike, as well as Sportsman's Warehouse,
We will be there Kyle! Hope to say hi!
Have to miss it this year.....ugh!
The WSF..... What an incredible conservation machine!!!
Mark
One of these years I'll head out there.
Unfortunately, I can't make it this year due to scheduling conflicts. :-(
Mad Trapper, sorry to hear you can't make it to Reno. Maybe you can make it to Lancaster this year.
Looking forward to my first year!
If Kota's going, I'm going...I can't stand when he has fun without me
OK, guys,
I have six seats left at my table for the Wednesday night banquet before most arrive.
I have five seats left for Thursday night when a few more have arrived.
It would be great to have some Bowsiters join us for those two nights,
If you're interested, please let me know ASAP.
I[m heading to the Harrisburg Outdoor show in PA this year. Have not been to this one before so I thought that I would check it out.
Just booked my flight and hotel for Reno!
I will not be able to attend this year due to a memorial service for a great aunt.
Sorry Zack, but it looks like it'll be Kota-man who will need a pedi just prior to the show.
Dang...I wasn't planning on going "all out"...
I'm planning on going, but haven't booked yet. Will probably fly in Friday am and out Sunday.
Looking for one seat at a table for Thursday night. Anybody got one?
Carl,
I have two seats left for Thursday. You're more than welcome to join us. Just let the folks in Bozeman know you need a ticket and that you'll be at my table.
Thanks Kyle! I've already registered and paid for the Thursday banquet.
Someone might want to order a "gross" of milk thistle.....heard it enhances the regeneration capabilities of one's abused liver!
Mark
Carl,
Perfect. Then just look for the table with my name on it. It will probably be somewhere in the first three rows from the stage.
Look forward to meeting you!
Mark.
Fer sure!
As Gray Thornton, our President and CEO likes to say, "We are a drinking club with a sheep hunting problem."
Too bad you can't make it this year. I'd love to meet you.
sir do you still have an extra seat?
this is my first year attending, i will just be there Thursday mid way to Friday Afternoon not sure what to expect
Benjie,
Per our PM exchanges, you're in.
See you next week!
Kyle
Will be there Thursday - Saturday.
How are we doing?
Someone want to post up the pre-Registration numbers?
Mark
Mark,
Registration numbers are blowing the lid off all previous records. Example: over 1,300 are registered for the Thursday nigh banquet which in my recollection, has never topped 1,000.
The Saturday night banquet is looking to do the same. Last year we had ~ 1,350. This year we're expecting over 1,700 and that's pretty much all the folks the ballroom can hold.
For anyone who is planning to attend the banquets, I'd suggest to get your tickets NOW if you don't already have them.
No there's bowhunting to do!!
Good show! Fun to talk to the outfitters and hunters!
Great to hear on the attendance numbers!!!
Put and keep (more) sheep on the mountain!!!
Conservation at its best!!!
Mark
First Sheep Show and I'm having a blast! Met quite a few Bowsiters already!!!
Came and went already, as a great many friends unfortunately missed a few as well. Homefront calls, but off for Giant Gators Tuesday
Great seeing Tim and all the other Bowsiters this week. As always...What a show...
Great show!
If you didn't make the final auction, you missed one of the coolest story lines I've witnessed in person.
This carved buffalo skull was auctioned off for $100k and then donated back to Kiristi a wounded warrior that had killed it a year earlier. I don't have time right now to add all of the details, but the entire presentation and video had everyone in the room swelling up.
The entire presentation was class and respect! Very cool, glad I was present to witness it!
Sorry I'm tracking... hope it was a great show!
That one looks like it would work Chris. Get him and get back here and tell a story!
Huntmaster,
What you saw last night is similar to what happens almost EVERY Saturday night at The Sheep Show,
Friends, Family and Conservation.
We take care of our own!!!!!!
Kyle, Thanks again for the spot at your table Thursday night. I really enjoyed sheep week.
Carl
