Kill Pigs!

With about 45 minutes of light left yesterday, this guy and about 8 others showed up in a bottom that has a lot of red oaks. They were rooting through the snow and leaves in search of acorns. He came to about 10 yards and I gave him an "oink" and he stopped for an easy shot. Watched him fall in sight. It was over In seconds. My love/hate goes on... :)

Those make good year around targets. Little ones are good eating. Congrats!

Haha. You have no self-control. Nice hog.

You ever get piggletscome through? Those are my favorite to eat.

I did a couple weeks back, Patrick. They were like little footballs. :)

Congrats! Kill a couple more.

Frank... I'm guessing he was around 160 lbs. I've weighed several and he was a bit smaller than others that were relative to his size. He felt like 300lbs after dragging him. :)

Congrats Rick! I would have a hard time passing on any hog that strolled by. Keep up the good work.

There was another boar with this group I wanted to shoot more than this one. He was the aggressor, pushing the others around and always trying move in front of the others. He was a light tan with big black dots all over. Maybe next week... :)

Sounds like a Poland-China, Rick. Shoot him, post a pic & I'll let you know for sure!

Would make a cool full body mount too!

Love it! You need some help? ;-)

Elkman... I've invited several people and most back out. The pigs are tough to find at times.

T-Roy... are you serious with that name of the pig?

I think this is the one I spoke about above... I'd shoot him in the balls if he gave me the shot.

There's definitely a breed by that name, Rick. Hard to tell from the pic. "Hamblaster" shot is called for from that angle.....or perhaps a Texas heart shot.

Damn I didn't know y'all had hogs in OK....Nice shot .I hear they can be tough to kill with a bow....None here in MD..Saw a pot bellied pig run down the road once.. Shouda taken advantage of the situation...lol

11-Jan-17
Yeah! Get 'em bro!

God Bless men

Patrick... we have tons. Wild and free, feral hogs. We hate them. I kill them when I see them., unless it's during the rut. Out of control.
