Considering purchasing a longbow from OMP, primarily because of the low price point. Am currently shooting a PSE Evo 7 compound and a Bear kodiak recurve, and want to to try a longbow. Just wondering if anyone has experience with their products, and can comment on quality, shootability, durability, etc. thanks in advance! Poudre

I don't know anything about OMP, but I have a couple Samick recurves, and for the price, they are excellent bows. My longbow is a Bear Montana, which is also a nice production bow.

Its October Mountain Products but one of their longbows is the Ozark Hunter. I think they are imports which isn't a bad thing necessarily. My son has a Fleetwood Timber Ridge takedown longbow thats great. They (Fleetwood) also have some other low priced trad bows similar to OMP and they are Colorado guys from Salida.
