I'm looking for an outfitter to do a lion hunt in the next couple of years. I would prefer Wyoming, as it has OTC tags and within driving distance of my home in ND. An on-call option would be great. I know Canada is tops for huge lions, but I'm not looking to spend that kind of money. I'd like to spend around 5k in outfitter rates. Any recommendations?

Yes! I got ya covered with an outfitter we work with in Wyoming. Super small outfit that fits the exact description of what you are looking for in Wyoming. Please contact me with any questions you have.

Not Wyoming, but affordable. Wade Eckel in Arizona (dry ground, no snow).

Check out Great Plains Outfitters. They are out of Wyoming. Dirk has some great dogs and he will work his can off to put you on a cat. Sorry bout the crappy pic. My computer crashed and I lost my pics :-(

My Neighbor Quentin Smith (QRS Outdoors) runs cats and is highly successful around here in Meeker, Colorado. My dad just went with him in January and killed a nice lion in one outing. He's an honest guy and I'd look at what he has to offer.

I have no outfitter information, but, I recently listened to a Meat Eater podcast with Steve Rinella. He had a guest on that is a guide and hound owner. He talks about being attacked by a lion when he was trying to tree a cat for researchers - and he had no gun! It was a great podcast.
