This popped up on my computer and I found it interesting so I thought I'd post it up. I did not realize that cougars "chirped" like this. Makes me think of at least one moment when I thought to myself, "What kind of bird was that?"

Awesome clip. I think females are the only one who do this and there is a bird that sounds very similar. Looks like it was just a little north of Redfeather here in Colorado. Thanks for sharing!

I would compare it to the sound that a Bobcat kitten would make trying locate it's mother. Maybe not the same thing but what if that is a young lion ?

I cant remember which bird it is but I recall Rainshadow (call maker) talking about it.
