Just curious, how big do you think he'll go (skull)? Sorry, not an archery kill, but with rifle. Even though my son wasn't able to be with me when I took him, he was able to sit with me the first night........his first time bear hunting. Had a sow and three cubs come in multiple times...........he had a blast!

Calipers will tell the truth. Length and width added to Together. B&C minimum is 21 inches. Great bear! C

Scoring a bear skull with a live bear or a dead bear is like scoring a deer when I'm blindfolded for me lol. Who knows how much meat/fat are under the skin? Maybe I'm just not experienced enough

Either way, looks like a gooddun. Congrats!

Until the skull is out who knows. I killed a bear a few years ago I thought would make b&c. When the skull was out and dried it didn't even make p&y. Alot of meat and fat. 350 lb boar in WI that was aged at only 3

He clearly stated it was taken with a rifle. Why don't you people at least read before you start looking for trouble

The B&C min is 20 inch 3yr book and 21 all time.Head looks good but short face leads me to guess 19 inch range.Nice bear congrats.
