Pistol or spray...makes you wonder. The first attack might have been worse but there probably wouldn't be a second attack if the bear was wounded/dying. Lots of what ifs. Seems like a good guy. Glad he made a full recovery.

Crazy stuff. Glad he made it and hearing his tale will help a lot of folks be ready, so I'm glad he told the story and in a matter-of-fact manner.

It's terrifying to consider going that way, but I'd choose it, doing what I love, over losing my mind to dementia in my old age. It's too bad we don't get to pick.

Thanks for a great you tube video. I watched the whole thing and giggled when he had to take the selfie video before going to the hospital. Hell of a cool head!
