My 12 year old-my youngest- son's first big game, first archery kill, first buck. We pulled off a great belly-crawl spot and stalk earlier, but he blew the 20 yard shot and was pretty bummed. He redeemed himself by hitting this handsome deer through the liver just at last light. With the help of a friend, we were able to bloodtrack on a pitch black night and find him by midnight. We got home at 1 a.m after what was supposed to be a short opening day hunt. Awesome day.
