Last chance for a bear in MA today so I figured I'd try this for good luck. At a private land cornfield in zone 4s that I have only been to once before so hardly any scouting. I'm going to be setup with the corn at my back, acorns in front of me and a stream to my left. I saw a lot of damage to the corn where I'm at but it is a big field so they can be anywhere. Wind is pretty strong and may swirl so not the best conditions. Better then being in bed though!

Well due to Sprint being the worst cell service I can't load any pics. So far heard a turkey gobble up the mountain. My only concern is if all the critters are ditching the corn for the fresh acorns. I have acorns here but their is probably a whole mountain full.

Good Luck Spike. If you don't tag a bear, you can always head over to CT later for deer. It's ok if you do a Live hunt there too.

Hunting in MA is as exciting as going shopping with your old lady. The wind was no good so I walked to the opposite corner of the cornfield and I'm sitting right where the woods intersects with the cornfield. With all these acorns on the ground I don't think anything is moving much. Hell the squirrels aren't either. Ace I think CT stole all our bears along with what few deer we had ha.

Well the most excitement I had was a hawk coming down and grabbing a chipmunk. Most people would give up after 6 seasons of no bear sightings but not this idiot!
