Sou' Wester Outfitting

Has anyone had any experience with this Outfitter? Might have also been called Caribou Valley Outfitters back in the day.

I'm looking at the woodland caribou/moose combo hunt with them, so if you have any comments please share them here.

There are no Outfitter Reviews on him so I thought I would ask here.

I have nothing current on them, however, when I was hunting the rock fairly regularily several years ago, Sou'Western had a good reputation. I did not hunt with them, but they were a consideration for me. I just haven't heard anything lately on them.

Generally a six day hunt on the Rock is challenging enough to get one specie but if this Outfitter has prime areas for both species it is possible. Archery Hunting on the Rock will be successful if you have a guide who loves to get back in the bush. After 8 trips there I believe this is the most important requirement. There are so many big animals back in the bush but getting a guide to love taking you there is the magic. Good luck. C
