Here we go again. Deer hunt in the morning, followed by 11:30 am junior training pheasant hunt, and in closing an afternoon / evening junior training deer hunt. Full hunting day today. Pictures will follow according to the schedule.

The turkeys just flew of the roost. An owl screamed twice before that. The mini deer are out and about prepping for winter. Very light breeze towards SSE and very humid.

No, you got it wrong. I am not 23 feet, I have 23 feet. It is all in semantics. Talking about that, I have 23 feet but so far did not see a deer. No turkeys. Just the omnipresent squirrels which I now call mini deer.

Weapon of choice is an Excalibur Micro as she is not proficient with her compound at distances over 20 yards. The compound bow pulls only 42# and does not have much penetration. I use a Ravin scope on the crossbow. Excellent scope for the task. I have one extra scope for sale. Send me a PM if interested please.

Evening deer hunt ended without action. The whole day was a hunting activity and we had fun. Time to recover.
