Biking, not hunting

Just took a bike tour of the neighborhood and spotted these antlers above the tall grass in a near by field. Turned out to be a nice 4 pt mule deer. He let me get within bow range and then just stood there once he noticed I had no bow but only a camera. I do believe he even smiled for the camera,-------- well maybe.

They do have the ability to know when we are in predatory mode.

Yea, no hunting in the area, too may homes and just outside of the city limits. I get these guys at the bird feeder once in a while.

just across the road from the house two years ago. They will be canvassing the area looking for local does.
