Had a tough elk hunt this year but got lucky on my first day out back home on blacktails. Bumped a deer in the dark on my way into my stand. Let things settle for 30 minutes in stand then did a light rattle and he came right in from the direction I bumped the deer earlier. Wide rack for the usual bucks here.

Are non res licenses available and what are fhe season dates. Go hunting and keep the little lady happy. Hmm

NR can buy a license over the counter. All species in the state are year round in certain areas.

Great job 808..... that's a tough hunt and low success rates. Some I've talked to live in the area and have never seen one. Dandy buck too. Congrats!

Bet you don't have to worry about the carcass getting ripe...... =D

Congrats, great buck!

Hunted Kauai for pigs/ goats on the Kalalau Trail several years ago. Didn't see any deer on that trip, we overnighted on the trail, did about 14 miles over 2 days. Beautiful place for sure!
