Headed to some state land. Going to play musical trees with the climber. Try 2 differemt spots today in the same state forest. Then off to massachusetts to hunt for 2 days. Then back in CT for friday and Saturday. This week and next week should be fantastic.

Going to try and slowly move closer to bedding over the next few days. So many squirrels today. I get kicked out of state forest next week. I think tuesday is last day on State land until dec. 20.

At about 830 Had a large body buck come to 65yds after rattling. Never got a good look at rack.. he rubbed a tree and moved along.. then at 915 had a doe circle me and hang around for 5 min then she wandered off.. relocating shortly so if they come back off private land they will not scent me.
