Well, I’d love to type a long, dramatic story about my hunt, but I don’t have one! I froze my ass in a tree stand all day sitting Saturday in the wind and freezing drizzle, and had this guy come walking by at dusk. I’ve never shot a Muley from a treestand, so it was a cool surprise!

Very nice ND prairie mule deer. Looks like you have a little skiff of snow. That would probably make for almost impossible stalking conditions out there. Was he following does? Should be at least thinking about the rut by now.

Thanks everyone.
The bucks I saw were all by themselves-both Mule Deer and Whitetail. That probably changed by now-it got down to 4 degrees last night so I'm sure they're up and moving.
