Good morning everyone. On this chilly morning I have one word for those who decided to step out of their comfort zone and conquer the elements: persistence. That is what fueled our survival in a time when comfort was not even a word. Good luck to all who persist in life one way or another.
I am about to leave the house to hunt the same spot as yesterday. Only 2 hours but lets hope deer will move.

Squirrels and chipmunks are awake making a racket. The squirrels are racing up and down trees in a competition to see who gets the last nut. Light wind ONE and a balmy 32*F. Water is not frozen.

The sun is just about coming over the ridge to my East, following the moon in their eternal dance. Temperature dipped as always does at this time of the day. No deer movement yet.
