I'm out fumbling with my phone again in the same spot where I hunted last time. I will try today grunt calling and antler bashing see what the noise brings in. I'm hunting with the hybrid reflex deflex longbow 48 lb at 28 inches. I draw 29 inches which brings the bow to 52 lb. North northwest wind at about 10 miles per hour is good for this location. I am about 21 feet up in the tree.

I did a short rattling sequence followed by two three grunts about 15 minutes ago. No movement yet.

GL. Do you have enough clearance with the LB? I've banged bottom limb of recurve on the rail twice resulting in poor hits. I don't even attempt it with my LB.

The magic hour is here. The wind has died down to about 4 miles per hour now. So far only squirrels, chipmunks, and woodpeckers moved around me. I also had 7 turkeys at well over a hundred yards and they didn't want to move my way. For the last hour I'm going to sit quietly.
