Well my hunt started at 10:30. Ran into a small 6 pt making a scrape. Doe nearby brought him away and they high tailed it but didnt blow. 35 yd shot or so.
I followed them a little and set up above a swamp and realized i forgot my treestrap. Walked all the way back to truck and got reset a little closer an hr and half ago. Poor cell service. One gunshot heard in last 15 mins. LOTS of new rubs and scrapes in the area. Looks like last nights work.

Not clear, i didnt not draw bow and shoot. He was too young and im not killing does today.

Doe and fawn on way out, got within 40 yards. Saw 4 does by the road nearby milling around.
Weird rut. Next hunt will be around thanksgiving, cant make it this weekend.
